Victoria's cultural events come to life in August and this year, Sarti is proud to be partnering with both the Melbourne Writers Festival, and the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF).
On the 29th of August the Melbourne Writers Festival present 'A Taste Of The Land', an Indigenous-Calabrian themed dinner at Sarti. Chef Riccardo will speak to Aunty Carolyn Briggs, Indigenous elder and expert in native foraging, to find the unlikely commonalities in their traditions - then forge an exciting new fusion between the two.
Due to our convenient location in the centre of the MIFF theatre precinct, from the 2nd to the 19th of August we will be running a dinner special. Festival film goers can enjoy two courses with a glass of wine and coffee for $60 per guest, with reservations available as early as 5:30pm.
We would like to thank all who have booked in for 'Game on' this Thursday night, our special game dinner with Bindi and Punch. We still have half a dozen seats left, so don't hesitate to call if you would like to attend. Otherwise, stay tuned for the event photo gallery in next months newsletter.

We Calabrians eat a lot of raw fish, so this recipe is Sarti's take on an old tradition. Make sure to use the highest sashimi-grade tuna you can get your hands on, for this delicious carpaccio.
